Munson Township is located in Geauga County, Ohio. The population per the 2010 census is 6,621 with 2,170 housing units. Munson was founded in 1816, and operates under Ohio Township Law. There are three elected Trustees and an elected Fiscal Officer. Munson Township will be renovating and expanding the existing Township Hall. The goal is to begin construction this summer. The Trustees approved preliminary floor Plan C at their meeting May 8, 2012. Munson Residents are encouraged to contact the Township or the Architect with their comments about the township facilities, the building, its expansion, the township hall site or any aspects of the planning.
