Zoning

Zoning is the regulation of the use of land and buildings which enables a community to control the development of its own territory providing for orderly growth. The Zoning Resolution dates back to 1948 when Munson Township was the first rural Township in the state of Ohio to enact Township zoning.  Zoning Inspector Tim Kearns handles all applications for zoning certificates. His office hours at the Munson Township Hall, 12210 Auburn Road, are from 8am-5pm on Mon., Wed., & Fri. and on Saturdays by appointment only. Residents may stop in or call ahead to schedule an appointment - 440-286-9182.
